Ray Schreyer is currently Program Manager of Internet Recruiting Strategies for the IBM Corporation.
Ray began his HR career at First Union National Bank, where he pioneered the use of the Internet for recruiting. He later became a content provider to America Online's Career Center and served as the Director of New Business for Monster.com. While working at Monster.com he was challenged by a client (Little & Associates) to re-enter the corporate arena to lead a major expansion effort. As Director of Employment for Little & Associates he doubled the size of the organization, maintained a Cost per Hire of $1650 for exempt professionals (EMA standards), and eliminated the need of outside agency support for staffing.
Ray is co-author of three books: "The Employer's Guide to Recruiting on the Internet", "Recruit and Retain the Best", and "The Best 100 Websites for HR
Professionals".
Ray received his Masters training in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of North Carolina and his Bachelors in Chemistry from Elmhurst College. He currently resides in Wesley Chapel, North Carolina.
